Shiatsu Therapy is a Japanese massage technique that evolved out of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Translated from Japanese, Shiatsu literally means ‘finger pressure’. Applying finger pressure to specific pathways on the body can allow the body to begin the process of healing. Shiatsu therapy can help many of the health concerns that we experience, from a sore shoulder or lower back; to digestive or reproductive complaints, just to name a few.
Shinso Shiatsu is a branch of Shiatsu therapy developed by Tetsuro Saito. Shinso Shiatsu uses a unique diagnostic method that helps the practitioner to diagnose all the levels of imbalance a client may be experiencing.
Shinso Shiatsu incorporates many different healing tools, such as yaki hari, ion pumping cords and the application of diodes to painful areas on the body.
