Acupuncture is an ancient healing modality refined in China thousands of years ago.  The root philosophy of acupuncture comes from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).  The ancient Chinese doctors discovered that stimulating specific points on the human body could help people to heal.  This understanding has been constantly refined to this day.

Modern practitioners use hair-thin, sterile, single-use acupuncture needles to comfortably stimulate healing points on the body.  Acupuncture has been recognized by the World Health Organization to be effective to treat a whole range of health conditions.

Acupuncture incorporates not only needle manipulation of acupuncture points but also utilizes complementary techniques such as moxibustion, cupping, gua sha, and auricular acupuncture.
